Koznik Chita Biography

The volunteers of Transbaikalia sent their fighters to the Kursk region of the naval stove photo: Photo by Alexander Kalashnikov on a white tablecloth from cotton with color markers, drawings, wishes and gratitude for the warm welcome. The owners spread this tablecloth whenever they have prominent guests at home. For half a century, dozens of eminent people visited a spacious apartment: doctors and theater -goers, poets and prose writers, artists and journalists.

Now this small piece of fabric has historical value. And the guardian of manuscript history is the head of the family - Boris Kuznik. Physiologist, doctor, professor, writer, public figure. Nowadays, such versatile gifted people are called "man of the Renaissance." More recently, September 17, he turned 95 years old! Boris Ilyich devoted almost his whole life to science and art, uniting these two titanic layers of human activity in his soul.

In gratitude for the disinterested many years of work, the Trans -Baikal Worker devotes several newspaper pages of the amazing life story of this person ... The beginning of the photo from the personal archive of Boris Koznik, an unexpected meeting, ran through his fingertips. Standing under a canopy at the entrance to the conservatory, more like an old castle, Eleanor carefully peered into the faces of every art lover emerging from her.

The heart trembled: “What if he had already left? Let's go already. " Something told her that he could not pass by. Otherwise, why would he have some unknown way to get a ticket for a concert when they had been sold for a long time? Young and restless, at the age of 27 he was already the chief doctor of the children's hospital in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky.

He came to Saratov for a short while to see his relatives, and by the will of fate collided the day before in the theater with the modesty of Löley, a young engineer of the local factory. When an unexpected acquaintance told the girl about his responsible business, about the team, interesting evenings and suburban walks with friends from the hostel, her cheeks treacherously blushed-either from admiration, or from shame: “I have nothing to tell about myself ...” That is why, when the young man spent her home, Lyolya said at a concert at the conservatory.

Photo from the personal archive of Boris Koznik, what was her surprise when, during the intermission, a familiar dark -haired physician flew up to them with a friend: “Girls, when the concert is over, wait for me at the entrance! She waited. Then she still did not suspect that the exciting stories told by a young doctor in the theater was only one little milestone at the beginning of his big, multifaceted path.

The rest of her was to go with him, hand in hand, under the name of the Kuznik. Photo from the personal archive of Boris Kuznik. At the table with Bulat Okudzhava, a happy ticket for a dozen legs, without exhausting on the threshold, walked into a modest household living room with some kind of comradely freeness. After a few minutes, a small apartment without amenities was filled with the voices of the guests, a fluid laugh and a delicious shock coming from the kitchen.

So unexpectedly to Boris, the Kuznik for lunch came the entire teaching staff of the department of normal physiology. For them, this was a completely natural phenomenon - today to go to Boris Ilyich, and tomorrow, for example, to Igor Dmitrievich Boenko, the head of the department. In many ways, it was thanks to the latter in the working team that the atmosphere of unconditional love and mutual understanding reigned.

Honestly, at such moments, the Koznik thanked his fate for giving him a chance to be at the Chita Medical Institute. In the year of his chief pediatrician, he was invited to a newly educated medical university, which opened in a distant Transbaikalia. Without a gram of doubt, Boris Ilyich threw everything and rushed into Chita, at that time without even realizing that it was his happy ticket and that the Bagul region would become the second small homeland for him.

On the verge of deductions today, people who at least once communicated with Boris Kuznik will hardly believe that in his student years this person was on the verge of deductions from the institute, even at his own free will. The guy entered the medical institute almost by accident. From education, then Borka only had that ten classes of the evening school of working youth, which he graduated from far from excellent marks.

Mom, who worked as a teacher of history all her life, begged her son: - I do not want you, like me, to work at school all my life.

Another thing is the doctor. Listen to me, go to the medical institute. There are friends from the evening school, as having conspired, everyone went to doctors. St. Petersburg, Winter Palace. Boris Kuznik with a doctor of medical sciences Vladimir Khavinson, everything would be fine for a year, but already in the first year the young man ran into an hell for him - Anatomy.

Yes, and the teacher of the Latin language did not like him: the young man walked thirteen times to give Latin! Sometimes the idea arose to throw the institute. But the unknown inner instinct again carried him to the apartment of a neighbor-doctor, who periodically allowed him to read scientific literature. Two books by Ivan Pavlov - his lectures on the work of the main digestive glands and about the highest nervous activity - the freshman read in one breath, as if he were not in front of him, but the novel of Alexander Dumas.

Needless to say that Boris firmly decided to overcome all obstacles and engage in scientific work in a circle at the department of normal physiology. The first ideal-I want to engage in conditional reflexes,-Boris said, embarrassed, after long expectations, finally, at the appointment with the head of the department of normal physiology, Professor Yevgeny Sergeyevich Ivanitsky-Vasilenko.

For thirty years I have been studying the process of reducing blood, but I still don’t know how it is carried out, ”the teacher answered. Listening to the lectures of Ivanitsky-Vasilenko, Boris finally fell in love with physiology. The professor was an ideal of wisdom for the young man, and the dream to get into discipline deeper than it was possible in the classroom, helped to come to terms with the hated anatomy.

In the fourth year, Boris’s dream came true-the professor instructed him to study the conditionally reflex regulation of the process of blood coagulation. And he succeeded. After a few months of persistent experiments on dogs, conditioned reflexes were developed. Unfortunately, the work in those years was not published, although at the conference held in the year Professor Ivanitsky-Vasilenko mentioned the data received by the forge.

But which of the serious scientists will read the theses published in the materials of the conferences of the peripheral university? So the priority was lost. The article by Boris Ilyich about conditional reflexes will be released only in the year, when he will already work at the Chita Medical Institute. Then the inspired physiologist will write a number of articles devoted to the study of uniform elements and the vascular wall in the process of reducing blood.

That's just a completely different person will push a young scientist to this. Igor Dmitrievich Boenko, the second ideal, the Department of Normal Physiology, where Boris Ilyich completely unexpectedly fell out in the middle of the last century, it was possible to call the island of democracy in a totalitarian state with complete confidence. Igor Dmitrievich Boenko, the head of the department and the man, whom the forge worships to this day, created such an atmosphere.

Two newly arrived assistants - still very green Boris Ilyich and Lilia Pavlovna Rosova - were allowed to completely openly discuss, offer their ideas for work, express an opinion about the listed lectures. Perhaps the scientific fate of the forge would have developed in a completely different way, then he would get into a more stringent, not allowing objections to the situation.

Without unnecessary questions, the forge provided the head of his study, and the next day was summoned to the office. But, Igor Dmitrievich, I would like to deal with the interesting problem that you are working on under your leadership, ”the Kuznik answered. He knew that the topic of blood pressure regulation was important for the head of the department and he devoted his doctoral dissertation to it.

And I want you to develop your own scientific direction. Rarely, one of the managers could go to a similar step. So, with the light hand of Boenko, Boris Ilyich had his own direction at the Chita Medical Institute, which was dedicated to about 30 doctorals, more than a hundred candidate dissertations and many articles written by him and his students. And soon the Commonwealth of Students involved in a scientific circle arose at the department.

A separate chapter is allocated in the life of the forge. Ekaterina Eremenko.
