The childhood and youth of Valera was born in the winter of the year in the family of Belarusians Mikhail and Galina Didzhalya from the city of Grodno. When Valera was five years old, his mother gave him a guitar. At first, he, at all a child, did not realize which the world opens the instrument before him. But soon the music became his main passion. He was engaged in self -education, gradually moving in the study of the tool.

As it usually happened, his first teachers were yard friends. Together they began to play the songs of Vladimir Vysotsky, “Time Machine”, “Beatles”. These were the first idols of Valera. Later, Didzhalya became interested in rock, jazz, Spanish music. At one time, he was under the great influence of Andres Sevehovia, then he was struck by the performance of Flamenco Manolo Sanlucker.

In rock music, Richie Blackmore, Angus Young really liked. In jazz music, Django Reinhard and Luis Salinas impressed. In classical music - Julian Brim. In interesting author's music - Tommy Emmanuel. The variety of musicians, styles and directions that played in different styles and directions influenced Valery both as a guitarist and as a person who began to write his own music. Didzhalye signed up for guitar courses and painstakingly dealt with the teacher, studying the chords, manners and techniques of the game.

Soon he began to experiment with special sensors and amplifiers of his own invention, trying to extract a new, previously unknown sound from the tool. The work of the first and invaluable experience for the musician was to participate as the third guitarist in the Grodno vocal and instrumental ensemble “Scarlet Dawns”, led by Nikolai Khitrik.
