Ruslan Abramov Biography
Ruslan Abramov: “The main task of this education is to teach understanding”, as a rule, Jewish parents strive to make their children with doctors, jewelers, businessmen or musicians, but who said that stereotypes are indestructible? Today we will introduce our readers to the doctor of economic sciences, a professor, former head of the department "State and Municipal Administration" of the Russian Economic University named after Tell us about your roots where you were born, where does your family tree go from?
As we know, parents play an important role in the formation of each person. Tell us about them. We are sometimes the value of parents, and, unfortunately, we begin to evaluate already in adulthood. But they lay the most valuable in us - the origins. Well, education, of course, makes adjustments to our development. My father is from an intelligent family. He worked as an engineer, they say, good.
The hand, they say, was. I do not remember that period very well, and early he passed away. He left the most valuable - memory. In fact, my mother had to raise children. She managed to work and raise children. Mom is a children's doctor. She devoted her whole life to the children, her own and not only. She worked in the hospital. I well remember her night duty, which we, of course, did not always like her children.
Many in the city say that mom had gold and kind hands. And there is evidence for this: everyone asked for treatment to her. I remember that in the summer, letters from school came to work in the summer of the school on the education of children-fans. I think she was pleased and inspired in difficult minutes. And, I hope, it made the strength to educate four children alone.
Regarding the roots. As far as I know, all our ancestors lived in Dagestan, mainly in Derbent, which I really love. There are many versions how they got to Dagestan. Some consider this a legacy of the Khazar Kaganate. Others believe that the community was formed due to the constant migration of Jews from Northern Iran, as well as, possibly, from the nearby regions of the Byzantine Empire.
There are other explanations. I think they all contain rational grain. And today, with the decentralization of the world, it is difficult to reckon yourself to some territory. The world has become very multipolar. Ruslan Agarunovich, you are a professor, doctor of economic sciences. Why did you decide to connect their life with the field of education, with teaching?
How did parents react to the chosen profession? Parents always gave us the right to choose, made it possible to decide for ourselves who we want to become. And even when, for example, I studied at once in several educational institutions of completely different profiles, from VGIK to Pleshki, my mother always with understanding treated all my undertakings. In truth, sometimes it surprised me: it seems like an oriental person ...
Of course, deep down, she wanted the children to become doctors like she herself, and most relatives. But I never entered a medical university, and the choice of profession, like many, became a kind of accident. Although, as we know, all accidents are not random. Often, walking nearby, I dreamed of studying there. After graduating from the magistracy, and then graduate school, I continued to work at the university.
At the same time, he also mastered other professions: he worked in the cinema, in business. But, apparently, mentor is sitting in every Jew, and education took up. I stayed at the university, having traveled from a student to a professor. Frankly speaking, at first the institute somehow suppressed me, seemed to me huge and powerful. This, you know, as in the film "When the trees were large." But then he became his home.
Most of my life took place in the Plekhanovka. What I do not regret at all. But if I was asked who you would have become if you had not remained in education, I would confidently say that I would have returned to the film industry that is fascinating me now. Most likely, I would shoot or produced films. You have a lot of teaching experience. In your opinion, have students have changed over the years?
Students have now become more specific, they know what they want. More demanding. More purposeful. Often on the proposal in some way we hear the phrase: “And what will we be for this? Now students know their rights, but sometimes forget about their duties or simply ignore them. And from this it becomes sad. Most depressed that current students cannot or do not want to work “in long”.
Many desires are reflected in the perspective of "here and now." They forgot how to think for the future. But in general, we have a talented, creative, advanced youth with great potential. Students are now charged for success, to work for society, for the country. Their feature is the ability to solve the problem with the help of your inquisitive mind, non -standard approaches.
They also have a high level of empathy. We are engaged in charity. We help orphanages - both morally and financially. And students are actively involved in this charitable activity! For a long time you headed the department "State and Municipal Administration" in the REU named after What, in your opinion, are the specifics of teaching students at the department? Features of students' training at the department “State and municipal management” are connected, first of all, with the development of knowledge in different fields.
A modern official, lawyer or economist, should be comprehensively developed. He must have an idea not only about his profession, but also about politics, art, culture, business, etc. Therefore, we form our guys in various aspects. So, we organized meetings with successful representatives of different fields of activity, so that students were inspired, form a holistic picture of the world, expanding the horizons regarding the ideas about themselves, the family, society, the state and the world.
Features of the department are also associated with active extracurricular activities. For example, students and I participated in the deputy’s elections to the Moscow City Duma in order to gain new knowledge and experience. And by the way, they showed themselves well. They lost only Nadezhda Babkina. All skills, acquaintances acquired throughout life, without a doubt, come in handy - we are talking about this to the students and prove this, relying on our own experience.
For example, I studied at VGIK, I was fond of cinema. He studied with the great masters, students of S. So, since the time of study there are many friends in this environment, and now they are famous directors, actors, leading. In the same year, you built a plan for priority actions for the development of the institute. Tell us which of the tasks has already been realized?
To begin with, I would note that before making this decision, I hesitated for a long time. After all, the Plekhanovka was my second home. However, the time comes when you understand that it is necessary to change something in life in order to improve. As they say, changes are always the path to growth. Therefore, when there were opportunities for development, I used them with pleasure.
MGPU is a worthy university with a magnificent team and leadership. Now there are many tasks. Much has already been done, but even more has to be done. The main goal is to make the institution recognizable in scientific and educational spaces. So that it becomes a guarantee of quality. I hope we succeed.
