Biography of the Turkish choir
Sveshnikova, then with a honors from the Faculty of Conducting the State Musical and Pedagogical Institute named after Gnesins, studied in graduate school, was engaged in symphonic conducting. Everything that the maestro creates has great success and resonance in society. So, for more than 35 years of the creative activity of the “Turkish choir”, he was recognized as the record holder of popularity, Soprano - a unique female project that has no analogues in the world, and the new project “Song Families” is a large -scale cultural event.
Michael sets trends in the musical industry. Thanks to the incredible creative intuition, he is able to surprise even the most demanding viewer. Gnesins I entered the historical and theoretical and composer Faculty. I really liked the music of music. Moreover, there are two areas: the history of music and the theory of music, and just history attracted me more.
Of the fellow students, no one thought I was a theorist. When they found out that I was a theoretician - they were scared immediately. How did you get into the choir? It was a year, I studied in my third year, when it was necessary to choose a topic for a diploma. I decided that it was necessary to take something that no one knows. I had two ideas: a bell ringing is a very interesting tradition - or temple music that I always liked.
But Orthodox music has been well studied, Catholic - all the more so, only the lazy did not write about it. And the music of the synagogue is insanely beautiful, and in our country on this topic then there were no scientific works at all. It was during the choice of the topic of the diploma that the announcement of the recruitment in the team of Mikhail Turkish, who worked in the synagogue and performed this particular music.
So I ended up in the “Turkish choir”. As a result, he defended the diploma at Hurray. What is the secret to the success of the Turkish choir? We were the first to find a new and very successful form of existence on the stage, adapted the classic format of the team to show business conditions. In fact, we created a new standard, a new performing paradigm, a new model-the “art group”.
And it turned out to be so successful that we are now often copied on stage. We are so rich and diverse in terms of palettes of voices and roles of artists that there is an opportunity to satisfy any, even the most capricious viewer. I always say: "If a person hates the opera, then he will tolerate 5 minutes and receive his rock or chanson." Of course, I would call the last nine to meaningful years of education, because when you leave the secondary school, you begin to navigate a more specific area.
Everything else after these nine years is the realization of what you have accumulated, what you learned in life, what you saw. With Mikhail Turkish, we studied together at the Russian Academy of Music. Gnesins, and once he proposed to come to a rehearsal, listen, and take part in his project. So I accepted! In the people that our leader Mikhail Turkish gathered together.
He managed to organize a team of like -minded people who “look” in one direction and want to give people emotions, enlightenment, music! Therefore, the choice of the university before me did not stand: having entered the Russian Academy of Theater Arts, GITIS received everything he wanted. I am grateful to the teachers and our insanely talented course, in general, to everyone who was with me at that time.
Many remained my friends to this day. It was this road that brought me to where I really want to be. I learned that the casting was declared in the art group “Turetsky’s choir” and decided to try his hand. By that time, I already had an extensive acting and singing experience. I think that my faith is, that this team needs me, and most importantly - I need this team, played a decisive role.
Together with my artistic data, of course. The correct combination of music, dance, vocal and acting is turning a regular concert into a real show, from which it is impossible to come off. It is very nice to see surprise at first, and then the joy and smiles on the faces of the audience during our performance! I worked a lot of Gnesins: I sang in services in the Church of John the Warrior on the weekend, on the Left Church in the men's quartet on weekdays, was as a chormaster in the Melsa Palace of Culture and taught at a music school.
Such extensive experience is an indisputable plus, since I could immediately apply the theory that was taught at the university. The Turkish sign with Mikhail for a very long time. It was immediately clear that we were conceived in one direction, so I was not surprised when he invited me as an artist to his team. Then I became a chormaster, and this happened somehow by itself, very natural and with pleasure.
I am interested in working in this format, so for the entire existence of the “Turkish choir” I have never regretted that I had once agreed to Mikhail’s proposal. In the repertoire, which we thoroughly think over and arrange as we like. Any work in our interpretation is a hit that does not leave indifferent neither us nor spectators. We will never take what does not inspire ourselves into the work.
The audience feels attitude, interest, excitement on stage and is “charged” with these emotions. We met Boris Goryachev, he told me that in the "Choir of Turkish" a casting was taking place and offered to try his hand. I recorded several tracks of my favorite Queen, added classic compositions - and sent them by mail to the team’s office. Several months have passed ...
And they wrote to me that they were waiting for listening to Moscow. I tried. I still try, and I like it! The fact that this is a team of like -minded people, optimists, purposeful and balanced people. We support and strengthen each other both on stage and in life, find a new unique sound in the unity of the votes and, most importantly, in the unity of approach to music. This gave a feeling of freedom of creative choice, freedom to see the musical text in its own way, as you want, regardless of the then political look.
Both the “Turkish choir” and Mikhail have long known, we came across events when I still worked in the academic ensemble of the song and dance of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia under the control of V. But we were not closely familiar. I felt that I would work in the “Turkish choir” three years before cooperation began. As such, there was no casting. I worked for my own recording studio when they called me and offered to try myself in a team.
I was already tired of the studio work at that time, I wanted something clear, determining the line of my creative life. I came and gradually began to join the team, studied with colleagues of high creative presentation. Our team is given a gift from above - to instill a joy in people. And it doesn’t matter how you eat, move - all these are just attributes. Our common aura gives people strength, the desire to change anything for the better, brings a feeling of happiness and fullness of life.
Getting a classic education, I always gravitated to the stage. In the days of the music school, he organized the ensemble with friends and played with great pleasure at dance evenings. And it was only for us for the years. Studying at the conservatory, he continued to pay great attention to the pop direction in music. It was already more serious: solo creativity, all sorts of events, anniversaries, weddings.
In general, "hack", like all at that time. But my passion for the stage led me to the leading musical team of Belarus - to the State concert orchestra under the direction of Mikhail Yakovlevich Finberg. Here in 6 years I gained experience. I also worked in the team of Yuri Antonov. I remember how now: in the distant year, Mikhail Borisovich then just Misha came to Minsk and announced the casting in the Moscow choir.
I was the only applicant for a vacant place - here it is, my personal secret of success! In one hundred percent professionalism and novelty of the proposed. The first singing and dancing choir, the first art group, whose repertoire is limitless. We covered all possible musical genres, no one else can do something like that. Our team has never been achieved by the final goal! We took, at first glance, insurmountable "heights" and achieved incredible results.
It is impossible not to note the ambitiousness and perseverance of the leader, without whom, perhaps, the choir would not aim at the levels of show business that are open to us today! He graduated from the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture and Arts with a degree in pop-jazz singing. Before moving to Moscow, he was a soloist of the Krasnodar Regional Philharmonic.
Mikhail Turkish saw the notes of my speeches when I still lived and worked in Krasnodar, invited to negotiations. About a year were in touch, called up. During this time, he even performed a couple of times with the choir. Then there was a move to Moscow, work in another project of the holding Mikhail Turkish. And finally, a proposal was received to become part of the choir, which I, of course, accepted.
I would not call it a secret. The Turkish choir is a unique team that has no analogues in Russia and in the world. Mikhail Turkish with an art group once occupied a niche, which was free. A unique palette of votes, the ability to work in absolutely any musical styles, the lack of repertoire borders, the performance of compositions in more than 10 languages, incredible energy and constant desire to surprise - all this allows the Turkish choir for 28 years to remain one of the most recognizable and beloved male choral groups of the world.
