Having worked in this position for four years, V. Konkov made a non -standard decision: to create and lead a complex brigade.

The brigade was part of the Vvedlovskhorstroy trust, but in practice their business relations were built on the principle of the contractor-contractor. Today, the Mayak corporation created by V. Konkov is a holding with a vertically integrated management structure that combines more than 10 enterprises of various directions. The Mayak Corporation was one of the first to begin the effective implementation of a socially significant project for assistance to deceived equity holders in the construction of housing with a total area of ​​more than 80 thousand square meters.

From for a year - a deputy of the regional Duma of the Legislative Assembly of the region. He is currently deputy chairman of the Infrastructure and Housing Policy Development Committee. He takes part in the work of the conciliation commission for the consideration of controversial and not regulated issues arising in the process of disposing of land in Yekaterinburg, the right of state property to which is not delimited.
