Nikolai Tarasovich, their father, maintained contact with the partisans. Mikhail often visited the fascist Garrison of Zaereye to remember the number of enemy, the emergence of new units of Germans or other formations, their placement, weapons, special signs in transport. He brought them to the detachment. In the village they burned their house, after - half of the village was closer to the fascist garrison. And his friend, with whom weapons collected, wore bread and potatoes to the environment, the Germans shot with their parents. As Mikhail Nikolaevich wrote, their detachment acted in the area of ​​the city of Minsk and the southern regions of the Minsk region.

The boy helped the steamer to transport sabotage groups of partisans across the Bird River on a mission and vice versa. As a result of injuries and shells, nine people, young patriots, became disabled. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, the M. Loshnets family returned to her native village. They received a message about the death of February 5 in East Prussia of the elder brother Nicholas-partisan-reconnaissance.
