Inside, very colorful drawings, a pleasant imitation of old pages, ciphers, puzzles - Alex knew how to intrigue. But if you really are fans that you want to solve the secrets of the town of Gravity Falls, you will not be able to make it unfortunately if you have not ordered the English -language version, but this one. The most important secret of this book is how to solve coding, simply because it is impossible to do this.

Not a cipher of Caesar, not an atbash or even a binary code, not to mention Bill’s cipher, do not even work in vain in Russian, and a complete nonsense is obtained. I am generally silent about the latter, half of the book is tied precisely on it, if you have gentlemen of the translators, how to translate it, I would be grateful for this. But the book has no tips with which you can solve at least some cipher.

The feeling that this is just a set of fictional characters, because there are new ones that were not in the series or where else. After all, the unraveling of ciphers is one of the main tasks of the series and books about Gravity Falls, but apparently people who were engaged in this book are not up to secrets. In addition, the selection and font layout leaves much to be desired, I don’t see that they really tried to repeat the handwritten font as in the English -speaking version and simply chose the most popular item, it is very sad.

Summing up, the book itself is good, but if you dream about it in order to solve the riddles and open parallel worlds, it will greatly upset you. I do not see that they would steam over the book to make it a copy of the original with riddles and create the feeling that the scientist was led by a manuscript magazine. So we have complete fiasco, but with beautiful pictures, maybe someone will like it, but I definitely don’t.
